Friends of the Sycamores,
In response to the Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) which is now standard operating procedure as it pertains to NCAA athletics, we have created the SYCAMORE CHAMPIONS/NIL Fund.
A Board of Directors is in place and is surveying the needs of all Sycamore teams. As you know, NIL allows student-athletes to benefit from their name, image, likeness in return for services rendered "quid pro quo" NOT pay for play!
SYCAMORE CHAMPIONS has decided that our student-athletes will provide service to the children of Terre Haute and surrounding communities through camps, schools, and community-wide events. Every Sycamore student-athlete and athletic team will have the opportunity to benefit from their NIL.
We believe in our coaches and the continuation of the winning tradition here at Indiana State University. Will you join us in helping to build the SYCAMORE CHAMPIONS/NIL Fund so that we may continue to be competitive within the Missouri Valley Conference and relevant nationwide.
To administer the distribution of funds, execute the contracts with donors and athletes, and provide all necessary tax procedures, SYCAMORE CHAMPIONS has partnered with STUDENT ATHLETE EMPOWERMENT. S.A.E. is a nationally respective provider of NIL services. Those who have agreed to donate to SYCAMORE CHAMPIONS/NIL Fund will be contacted via email by S.A.E. to facilitate your contributions.
