2021 Spring Attendance Policy

Spring Attendance Policy beginning April 1, 2021

Indiana State University announced an update to the attendance policy for the spring outdoor athletics events hosted by the university. The changes will affect baseball, softball, and track & field events through the remainder of the semester.

For the health and safety of the Indiana State community, those in attendance will be required to follow campus policies such as wearing a mask, practicing physical distancing, etc. The University will continue to monitor the conditions and evaluate the possibility of welcoming additional audiences.

BASEBALL
Attendance will be 500 (25% of 2000 seat capacity), with 140 on the ISU pass list and 60 on visiting team pass list. 250 general admission tickets will be on sale for a price of $10. 50 ISU students will be admitted for free (ISU student ID required) on a first come first serve basis once gates are open (30 minutes prior to first pitch). The ticket window will open one hour prior to game time, 30 minutes before gates open. Fans will not be allowed along the first and third base lines in order to maintain social distancing from student-athletes.

SOFTBALL
Attendance will be 130 (25% of 526 seat capacity), with all tickets dedicated to student-athlete pass list (100 for Indiana State and 30 for visiting teams).  All areas under the stands will be blocked to maintain social distancing from student-athletes.

SOCCER
200 General Admission tickets for the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament will be sold at the Memorial Stadium ticket window on the day of the match (April 14). In addition, the student-athlete pass for both teams will also be permitted. Ticket window and gates will open 30 minutes before the opening whistle. All COVID protocols, including mandatory masks, social distancing, and no concession stands, will still be in effect. Tickets will cost $5.

FOOTBALL
The final "Spring Practice" will permit extended family members to attend, once again via student-athlete pass list. Contact with student-athletes will prohibited in order to maintain proper social distancing guidelines.

Those on the pass list will be permitted entrance 30 minutes prior to the game's scheduled start.
Social distancing guidelines are set in place by Indiana State Director of Sports Medicine Kellen Norris and the Missouri Valley Conference.
