What is the Varsity Club?
The Varsity Club is the annual giving program of the Sycamore Athletic Fund (SAF) that provides needed financial support for Indiana State University Intercollegiate Athletics. Varsity Club members give $125 or more annually to offset the cost of books, equipment or even tuition, and help Sycamore student-athletes achieve their dreams in the classroom and in competition. Donors enjoy tiered benefits that connect them with Sycamore Athletics.
The Varsity Club is every fan's opportunity to show their support of the Sycamores. We recognize contributions over the course of the university's fiscal year (July 1 - June 30) to allow us to acknowledge your overall charitable support of the Sycamores.
Varsity Club members pledge to support Indiana State Athletics with a minimum gift of $125 annually. This donation can be designated to the program or project that means the most to you. Here are the ways you can make an impact on Indiana State student-athletes and teams.
What can I give to for my membership in the Varsity Club?
Donations can be designated to Sycamore Athletics (greatest need),a specific Team Fund, Student-Athlete Scholarships, or a special project for Indiana State Athletics. Your membership level and benefits are determined by your total gifts to the Sycamore Athletic Fund.
Sycamore Athletics (Greatest Need) is an unrestricted fund that is operated by Indiana State Athletics. It ensures that our athletic programs have the resources they need to compete at the highest level.
Team Funds are essential to the operations of each team. Gifts made to a specific team directly impact expenses related to equipment, meals, travel, recruiting and uniforms.
Student-Athlete Scholarships is the general scholarship fund for Sycamore Athletics, and contributions to it provide support for the education of Indiana State student-athletes.
Special Projects include the Coaches Enhancement Fund, Facilities Enhancement Fund, Larry Bird Scholarship Fund, and the Gibson Track & Field/Sycamore Athletic Complex. More exciting projects will be announced soon!
