Determining Financial Aid Figures

The Compliance Office and the Office of Financial Aid receives tuition, fees, room, and board figures from the and Indiana State Legislature and from the ISU Administration. Figures are reviewed and approved by the Athletics Director and the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance.

Room and Board
The Compliance Office, with the assistance of the Financial Aid Office determine weighted average of rooms available through campus housing. Figures are reviewed and approved by the Athletics Director and then that information is forwarded onto the coaches as soon as possible.

Tuition

The standard athletic scholarship pays tuition, mandatory fees, double occupancy room and purchases the Advantage Meal Plan for its student athletes on an athletic scholarship that pays for such. Single occupancy rooms are not generally available unless permission is received from the Athletic Director. Incoming freshmen student athletes must apply for single rooms per standard Indiana State University policies and procedures, per NCAA rules.

Course-Required Books

NCAA has determined value to be $400 per semester. The standard athletic scholarship only pays for $400 per year per recipient. Please review the ISU Athletic Department Textbook Policy on this website or in the Student Athlete Handbook for further information.
