Playing and Practice Seasons
NCAA Bylaw 17 provides rules and regulations governing the Playing and Practice Seasons of all member institutions. These regulations include, but are not limited to, limitations placed on the number of organized practice activities, the length of playing seasons and the number of contests in which a team may participate.
Coaches will be required to submit a “Declaration of Playing and Practice Season” form with the Compliance Office prior to the beginning of the academic year and normally no later than July 1st each year.
