Complimentary Admissions
NCAA rules allow student-athletes, prospects and coaches to receive complimentary admissions to athletics events. Complimentary admissions are provided via a pass list and all individuals must show photo identification and sign in prior to admission. Admission may only be provided to the general admission section. Please refer to pass list procedures for more information.
Coaches
High School/Prep School/Two-Year College Coaches
Prospects
- A coach may request a prospect be provided up to three complimentary admissions for a prospect on an official or unofficial visit to attend a home intercollegiate athletics event during an official or unofficial visit. These admissions are for the exclusive use of the prospect and any individuals accompanying the prospect on the visit.
- The prospect must be placed on a pass list prepared by the coach and if it is an official visit, the proper information must be indicated on Official Visit Approval Form prior to the visit and approved by the Compliance Office. Thereafter the pass lists will be forwarded to the Ticket Office.
- Admissions may only be provided to the general admission section.
- Complimentary admissions will be provided via a pass list. To be admitted to the contest, individuals receiving the admissions must proceed to the pass gate and show photo identification and sign in to be admitted to the contest.
At no time will hard tickets be issued. Additional tickets for other individuals accompanying the prospect must be purchased at face value (if available).
Student-Athletes
- Under NCAA rules, student-athletes may receive up to four complimentary admissions to the general admission section of a home or away contest in the sport in which the student-athletes participates.
- Complimentary admissions will be provided via a pass list.
- To be admitted to the contest, individuals receiving the admissions must proceed to the pass gate and show photo identification and sign in to be admitted to the contest.
- At no time will hard tickets be issued.
- Student-athletes are permitted to give away complimentary admissions to other student-athletes so long as they do not receive anything of value. At no time may admissions be given to an agent or a runner.
- Coaches must obtain the information from the student-athletes and must submit a completed Pass List Form for these individuals along with the player and recruit pass lists to the Compliance Office per standard operating procedures.
- A high school/prep school/two-year college coach may receive a maximum of two complimentary admissions to the general admission section of a home intercollegiate athletics event.
- Complimentary admissions will be provided via a pass list. No hard tickets may be issued. To be admitted to the contest, individuals receiving the admissions must proceed to the pass gate and show photo identification and sign in to be admitted to the contest.
- Requests should be made by completing and submitting the Pass List Form for these individuals along with the player and recruit pass lists to the Compliance Office per standard operating procedures.
No material benefit (e.g., complimentary food/drink, transportation) may be provided to a high school/prep school/two-year college coach.
