Sean Bowman begins his first season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Indiana State University track and Field team after an outstanding career with the Sycamores as a student-athlete. Bowman was a three-time All-Missouri Valley Conference selection (indoors in 2005 and outdoors in 2007 and 2008). In outdoor competition, he has ISU’s second best time in the 1,500 meters (3:47.35) and ran the third leg on the 4x800 meter relay team which set a school record in 2008 with a time of 7:36.98. Indoors, Bowman owns the school record in the mile run (4:06.33) and ran the fourth leg on the distance medley team which set a school record of 9:42.09 in 2008.

Bowman was named to the Academic All-District team and the USTFCCCA All-Academic team in 2008.
