2011 – Played in 31 games (104 sets), starting 14 … received Coaches’ Award … had 14 kills (0.13 per set) in 55 attempts (.127 attack percentage), 303 assists (2.91 per set), 17 service aces, 247 digs, 18 blocks (five solo and 13 assists), and 42.5 points … had game highs of three kills against Connecticut (9/10), six attack attempts against Fairfield (9/10) and Bradley (9/23), six points and 58 assists against Bradley (9/23), and 16 digs against Drake (9/30) … was setter on the American International Sports Teams (AIST) volleyball team during Tour of Italy (March 24-June 3) ... played five Italian teams and finished with a 3-2 record.
2010 – Played in 13 games (48 sets), starting 13 before season ending knee injury against Chicago State (9/16) … had 22 kills in 71 attempts (.155 attack percentage), 364 assists (7.58 per set average), nine service aces, 104 digs (2.17 digs per set average), and 26 blocks (four solo and 22 assists) … had game highs of .833 attack percentage (5 kills-0 errors-6 attempts) against St. Francis (9/10), five kills vs. St. Francis (9/10), 15 attempts against IUPUI (8/31), 8.5 points against The Citadel (8/28), 47 assists against SIU Edwardsville (9/3), 19 digs against Akron (9/10), and five blocks (one solo, four assists) against Appalachian State (9/11).
BEFORE ISU – Lettered in volleyball four years and track & field two years at Pontiac Township High School … was named volleyball Most Valuable Player and Top Server … was first team All-conference as senior, second team All-Conference as junior, and honorable mention All-Conference as sophomore … was All-Conference and top scorer in track & field … member National Honor Society.
PERSONAL – Loni LeeAnn Mackinson was born on Feb. 21, 1992, in Bloomington, Ill., the daughter of Marty and Susie Mackinson … majoring in Nursing at Indiana State with plans to become pediatric nurse … interests include running, riding horses, and hanging out with friends and family … brother, Jessie, played basketball at Eastern Illinois (2000-2004) … sister, Abby, played volleyball at Elmhurst College (2002-2006) … brother Daniel, played football at Aurora University (2003-2007) … brother, Rayme, currently a member of the track & field team at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
