2008 Season: Played in 29 games, starting 21. Had .270 batting average with two doubles, a triple, one home run and 11 RBI. Set school career record after being hit by a pitch 11 times during season (37 for career). Was hit-by-pitch three times against Miami University (May 13), which set a single game school record.
2007 Season: Played in 49 games and started 45 with a .241 batting average. Led team in hit-by-pitch with 26. Had a team high .989 fielding percentage.
Before ISU: Played at Messa Community College, Mesa, Ariz., for coach Tony Cerelli. Had a batting average of .347. Voted most improved player. Has played in two World Series and has played in two international tournaments: one in Italy in 2005, and another in Aruba in 2003.
High School: Played at Providence Catholic High School in New Lenox, IL, for coach Joe Redeghero. Two year letter winner, named team MVP junior season. Was an all-county and all-conference selection as a junior and as a senior. Also lettered in soccer four years and basketball one year. Was all-area selection in soccer and baseball.
Personal: Born on June 14, 1986, in Lemont, Ill., the son of Ted and Linda Osborne. Majoring in Sport Management. Plans to go to graduate school for MBA and work for a professional baseball team. Hobbies include ping-pong, pool and working out. Has a brother, Chad, and a sister, Lauren.
