TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State put together another strong showing on Thursday night, rolling past St. Mary-of-the-Woods at Memorial Stadium to move to 2–1 on the season. The Sycamores controlled the match throughout, using steady pressure, sharp ball movement, and deep rotation to keep the tempo high from start to finish. It was a confident, complete performance that continues to build early-season momentum heading into Saturday's match against Chicago State. 

Indiana State's attack found its rhythm early, converting chances and creating sustained pressure in the attacking third. The Sycamores generated opportunities from multiple lines. Defensively, Indiana State stayed organized and disciplined, limiting SMWC's looks and protecting the clean sheet behind a composed goalkeeping rotation. Through three matches, the Sycamores have shown balance, depth, and a clear sense of identity as they settle into the 2026 season.
