ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Sophomore goalkeeper Delaney Timmons has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Goalkeeper of the Week after posting back-to-back shutouts in matches against Green Bay and Lindenwood. 

Timmons was a steady presence on the net throughout the week, totaling 10 saves across 180 minutes of action. She opened the road trip with a season-high six saves in Indiana State's 2-0 win at Green Bay, turning away multiple scoring chances to preserve the clean sheet. She followed up that performance with four saves in the Sycamores' 0-0 draw at home against Lindenwood, recording her second consecutive shutout and third result of the season. 

Through five appearances and three starts this fall, the Ventura, Calif. native has compiled 18 saves, a .750 save percentage, and a 1.50 goals-against average over 360 minutes of play. She has also collected two shutouts while contributing to a third clean sheet as part of a goalkeeper rotation early in the season. 

Timmons' recognition marks her first career MVC weekly award and Indiana State's second league honor of the 2025 season. Her consistent performances in goal have played a key role in helping the Sycamores build momentum in non-conference play heading into the Missouri Valley schedule.
