TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State volleyball hosts the first Refreshment Services Pepsi Sycamores Volleyball Invite this upcoming weekend on Sept. 12-13 inside Hulman Center.
Indiana State is hosting Montana, Eastern Illinois, and Butler in the tournament. The full schedule, tickets, live stat and video links, and parking information can be found

Indiana State opens with Montana at 11 a.m. on Friday, then plays Eastern Illinois at 7 p.m. The Sycamores wrap up the tournament hosting Butler at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
Heading into the tournament, here are some quick statistics to note:
- Four Sycamores have started all six matches this season: Kimora Whetstone, Kira Holland, Ella Scott, and Hadley Hardersen.
- Kira Holland (84) and Ava Robart (67) lead the team in kills, combining for 55% of the team's kills on the year. Holland has 3.65 kills per set, good for third in the league so far.
- Holland is third in the league in points per set (4.17).
- The two middle blockers of Scott and Whetstone lead the team in hitting percentage (.291 and .282, respectively), followed by Robart at .217.
- These two total 36 blocks (Scott 21, Whetstone 15) on the season. Scott is currently 10th in the MVC.
- Hardersen (69) and Chloe Gilley (60) are top two in digs, with Hardersen digging out 3.14 per set. Hardersen is 10th in the league, while Gilley is 17th.
- Hardersen recorded 19 digs in only a three-set match.
- Chloe Gilley at the NIU Invitational set new career highs in aces, digs, and assists:
- Aces – 4 vs. Merrimack (9/6)
- She tied with Robart as the only two Sycamores to record 4-or-more service aces in a match
- Digs – 21 vs. NIU (9/6)
- Gilley is the lone Sycamore to record 20+ digs in a match this season
- Assists – 6 vs. SIUE (9/5)
- Ella Scott set a new career high in block solos with 4 against SIUE (9/5)
