Box Score Murfreesboro, Tenn. – Indiana State battled to a 2-2 draw on the road at Middle Tennessee on Sunday afternoon, as the Sycamores scored goals from Anna Chor and Brooklyn Woods in the non-conference contest.
The Blue Raiders struck first in the 20th minute, but the Sycamores responded right before halftime as Anna Chor buried the equalizer at 45:00 bringing the match even at 1-1 going into the break.
MTSU opened the scoring midway through the half when Emma Pettersen found the bottom right corner off an assist from Taijah Fraser. ISU generated chances of its own, including a close-range look from Lina Fasquelle in the 41st minute that was cleared off the line.
The breakthrough came with seconds remaining in the first period. Brooklyn Woods slipped a pass to Chor, who fired a right-footed shot into the bottom center of the goal to even the match at 1-1 at the break.
ISU tallied three first-half shots, including efforts from Addyson Warner and Fasquelle, while goalkeeper Alicia Perez registered a save to keep the Blue Raiders in check.
They also seized the lead shortly after the restart when Woods converted a penalty kick at 54:39. The Blue Raiders answered back in the 75th minute with a strike from Mya Stenehjem, leveling the score at 2-2, where it would remain through full time.
The Sycamores created consistent pressure throughout the second half, earning multiple corners and testing the Blue Raiders' back line. ISU also saw late opportunities from Alex Lehnert and Avery Oergel denied by MTSU goalkeeper Demi Gronauer, who made timely stops to keep the match tied.
Nine total shots were generated by ISU in the match, including second-half efforts from Alex Lehnert and Riley Mathews, while goalkeeper Alicia Perez collected four saves to anchor the defense.

20' – Middle Tennessee 1–0: Pettersen opened the scoring for the Blue Raiders with a low finish to the bottom right corner, assisted by Fraser.
45' – Indiana State 1–1: Anna Chor leveled the match with a right-footed strike to the bottom center, set up by Brooklyn Woods just before halftime.
55' – Indiana State 2–1: Brooklyn Woods buried a penalty kick into the bottom right corner to give ISU the lead.
