Clark, Rochelle headline five Sycamores on the MVFC All-Conference team

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Indiana State football's Kimal Clark and Rashad Rochelle were both honored on the Missouri Valley Football Conference's First Team, highlighting five Sycamores receiving recognition on the All-Conference list as announced by the conference office on Monday morning.

Clark, also receiving MVFC Newcomer of the Year, was honored on the First Team as a defensive back as the Missouri Valley Football tackling leader with 145 stops and 12.08 tackles per game. He finished second overall in the NCAA FCS in total tackles per game on the year.

Clark recorded 10 games with at least 10 tackles on the season, excelling in conference play posting a season-high 19 tackles against Illinois State, while adding 16 against Murray and 15 against both South Dakota State and North Dakota State. The Preseason Third Team All-American added 4.5 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks, while adding two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

Rochelle was named across three different teams receiving First Team All-Purpose Player recognition, Second Team Wide Receiver honors, and Honorable Mention Return Specialist recognition. He wrapped up the 2025 season with four 100-yard games over his last five contests, including the Valley's only 200-yard receiving effort, a six-catch, 224-yard, three-TD game against Youngstown State. He added a second three-touchdown game against South Dakota State. He was also second in the Valley in kick return yards and average, and fifth in punt return average. Rochelle finished his career second all-time in Indiana State single season history in receiving yards with 863 over the 2025 season, despite missing one game due to injury.

Lance Rees, Ahmond Glass, and Harry Traum were all recognized on the MVFC Honorable Mention team.

Rees is a five-year player with the Indiana State football team and starting tight end the last two seasons. He finished fifth on the team with 16 receptions for 109 yards and was utilized in the blocking game while working with the offensive line. He recorded multiple catches in four games on the season.

Glass served as Indiana State's primary cover corner who led the Sycamores with six pass breakups and added an interception early in the year against McKendree. He posted 57 tackles from the corner spot including a season-high 10 stops against South Dakota.

Traum served as Indiana State's primary punter and was one of Sycamores' team captains in 2025. He finished the regular season as the MVFC punting yards leader and was tied for second in the league with 20 punts downed inside the 20-yard line. Out of his league-high 68 punts, only four went into the end zone for a touchback. He also recorded 11 punts that traveled 50-plus yards.
