The Flames went on to go on a 7-1 run to take the lead and go up 23-20. Despite a kill by Hardersen, the Flames took the set 25-21.

The Sycamores opened set two with a 7-2 run due to kills by Kira Holland and Whetstone. The Sycamores continued to hold the lead with kills by Ella Scott and Curry Kendall; however, aces by the Flames brought them back into the set to tie it at 12's. The Trees would battle to hold the lead, but kills by the Flames tied the set again at 14's. Errors by the Trees gave the Flames the lead. A kill by Holland and errors by the Flames brought the set even once again at 19 apiece. The back end of the set would be a back-and-forth battle with a block by Corinne Knapp and Whetstone to tie the match at 23 all.
