TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State men's basketball is back inside Hulman Center for the next two games, first hosting Northern Iowa on Saturday at 1 p.m. Saturday's game is an MVC TV Network production streaming on ESPN+, and the game will air on 105.5 The Legend.
Indiana State is looking to bounce back from a five-game skid, most recently falling at Illinois State, 85-81. In the month of January, the Sycamores are 1-6 with three of the losses coming on the road.
Northern Iowa has won three of the last four games, including traveling to Illinois State and winning 85-84. The other two wins were against Evansville and Missouri State. The Missouri State win is the most recent, downing the Bears at home, 79-68.
In the last five games, the Sycamores have been led in scoring by
Samage Teel at 15.2 points per game, playing 33.1 minutes per game. In second is
Jaden Daughtry scoring 12.4 points per game, shooting 66.7% from the field.
Aaron Gray is the third Sycamore averaging double figures with 11.6 per game, also leading the team in rebounding in the stretch with 6.2 per game. Teel is dishing out the most assists in the last five games at 5.0 per game.
In the second half of the two-game home stretch, Indiana State faces Missouri State on Wednesday, January 29.

This Saturday's game is the Kids Club game. Pregame activities for Kids Club members will be available on the concourse from when doors open to tip off. At halftime, campers from the Spirit Squad's Youth Clinic will perform.
Wednesday night is the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce Community Night, and it's the annual Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers game. The coaching staff will "#SuitUp" to help raise awareness about the American Cancer Society's fight against cancer.
