TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State Athletics and JKO Media's Joey O'Rourke announced the start of the Sycamore Football Radio Show starting on Thursday, August 29, at 7 p.m. ET. The show will be broadcast live from Show-Me's Sports Bar & Grill located at 2324 S 3rd Street in Terre Haute.
Hosted by O'Rourke, the show will be held every Thursday evening throughout the Indiana State football season and will feature interviews with Head Football Coach
Curt Mallory, additional coaches, and student-athletes. Each week will also feature a special guest from across the Indiana State Athletic Department. Fans can also listen to the show live on 105.5 The Legend.
The show returns to a weekly format throughout the 2024 season. It was held on a monthly basis over the course of the 2022 and 2023 seasons at both Copper Bar and Honey's Bar & Grill at Terre Haute Brewing Company.
Sycamore Director of Athletics Nathan Christensen and O'Rourke announced an extension of ISU Athletics on 105.5 The Legend in early July as the Sycamores extended their contract through the 2026-27 athletic year. The agreement keeps Sycamore football, men's and women's basketball, and baseball on their home station, continuing a partnership that was established prior to the 2021-22 athletic year.
The 2024-25 ISU Athletic seasons will feature multiple ISU alumni across the airwaves. Brian Jennings will serve as the Sycamores' play-by-play announcer for the 2024 football season, while O'Rourke is back in the role as the primary voice of Sycamore men's basketball in the 2024-25 season. John Sherman will return as ISU's primary on-air talent for the Sycamore women's basketball and baseball teams.
