TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State Interim Director of Athletics Angie Lansing announced head coach Chad Killinger will be stepping down from his role with the Sycamore women's basketball program effective immediately. 
 
Lansing said, "We'd like to thank Chad for his contributions to Sycamore Athletics and wish him and his family well moving forward."
 
Killinger ends his time with the Sycamores with a 33-60 record over his three seasons with the program. The women's basketball team was active in the community under his leadership.
 
Deidra Johnson will remain as the interim head coach while a nationwide search begins for the next Indiana State women's basketball head coach.
