Sycamores open spring practice schedule on Tuesday morning

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State football hit the field on Tuesday morning for the first of 15 scheduled practices in the 2024 spring football practice slate.

The Sycamores will continue this week with practices on Thursday and Saturday and will carry on with three practices a week leading up to the May 4 Blue-White Spring Game at Memorial Stadium.

"It was great to get out here," head coach Curt Mallory said. "The weather held as it always does with day one. We could tell the guys were excited to be back out there, just have to continue to get better at execution. Looking across the field, you can see the guys that are returning and have the experience. You could hear the defense today, they were loud and got after it, while the offense stayed focused "

Indiana State will continue its spring practice slate this week as ISU looks ahead to the fall and the 2024 football season. The Sycamores' 11-game slate features six home games home games at Memorial Stadium starting with the September 14 home opener against Dayton.

Ticket prices and kickoff times will be announced at a later date.
