TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Indiana State men's basketball earns votes in the national polls leading up to the MVC Tournament. 

ISU increased in points in both the AP Top 25 and USA TODAY Coaches Poll from last week. In the AP poll, ISU landed six spots outside the Top 25 with nine points. In the Coaches Poll, the Sycamores were nine spots outside the Top 25 earning five points.

In this week's Collegeinsider.com mid-major poll, the Sycamores moved up one spot from last week into the No. 3 position. 

In the 2-0 week, Indiana State defeated Evansville on the road 85-67 and downed Murray State at home on Sunday 89-77 on Senior Day.
