TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State's football schedule to open the 2024 season has been adjusted as the Sycamores' first two games against Eastern Illinois and Purdue were swapped following conversations with both institutions.
The Sycamores will now travel to Purdue for the opener on August 31 as ISU makes the trip to West Lafayette, Ind. and Ross-Ade Stadium continuing a scheduling agreement between the two programs through 2026.
ISU's week two opponent will be Eastern Illinois as the Sycamores travel to Charleston, Ill., continuing a non-conference scheduling agreement running through the 2026 season.

- Sept. 7 – at Eastern Illinois
- Sept. 14- vs. Dayton
- Sept. 28 – vs. Houston Christian
- Oct. 5 – at Youngstown State*
- Oct. 12 – vs. Murray State*
- Oct. 19 – at Missouri State*
- Oct. 26 – vs. Southern Illinois*
- Nov. 2 – vs. North Dakota*
- Nov. 9 – at South Dakota*
- Nov. 16 – vs. Illinois State*
- Nov. 24 – at Northern Iowa*
The Sycamores will announce their spring practice schedule at a later date.
