The Sycamores maintained their double-digit advantage until the fourth quarter, as SIU took advantage of 17 second-half turnovers to get within one late. A deep two-pointer from the corner from White inside the last 30 seconds proved to be a dagger, allowing Indiana State to hold off Southern Illinois' comeback effort.
