ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The 2022-23 Indiana State men's basketball schedule is complete as the Missouri Valley Conference announced the 20-game conference slate on Thursday morning.
The Sycamores schedule will feature home-and-home contests with nearly every member of the MVC this season with the exception of both Bradley and Belmont. ISU will host Bradley on January 18, while the Sycamores will make the trip to Belmont on February 22.
Indiana State will start conference play after the Thanksgiving holiday with the Sycamores hosting Drake at the Hulman Center on Wednesday, November 30. ISU will have two more conference matchups prior to the New Year with the Sycamores traveling to Southern Illinois (Dec. 7) and hosting Evansville (Dec. 29).
Indiana State will open the 2023 portion of the schedule on the road with trips to Valparaiso (Jan. 1) and Illinois State (Jan. 4). ISU will return home for a pair of contests against Illinois Chicago (Jan. 7) and Southern Illinois (Jan. 11), before heading back on the road on January 15 at Missouri State.
ISU returns to the Hulman Center to host Bradley on January 18, before making road trips to Murray State (Jan. 21) and Drake (Jan. 24). The Sycamores return home for their final game in January to host Northern Iowa on January 28.
February puts the Sycamores back on the road at Evansville (Feb. 1) to open the month. The Sycamores are home against Murray State (Feb. 4) and Valparaiso (Feb. 8), before making return trips to Northern Iowa (Feb. 11) and Illinois Chicago (Feb. 15). ISU closes out the regular season schedule with home games against Illinois State (Feb. 18) and Missouri State (Feb. 26) sandwiching a road trip to Belmont (Feb. 22).
Arch Madness is set for March 2-5 at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis.
As previously announced, the Sycamores opens the competition slate with a November 1 exhibition against Tusculum before starting the 2022-23 regular season.
The Sycamores are at home in each of their first three games as ISU hosts the return trips in the home-and-home series against Green Bay, Ball State, and North Dakota State. Green Bay comes to the Hulman Center for the regular season opener on Monday, November 7, while Ball State (Nov. 12) and North Dakota State (Nov. 17) wrap up the season-opening home stand.
ISU makes its longest road trip of 2022-23 over November 21-23 as the Sycamores take part in the 2022 Gulf Coast Showcase hosted in Hertz Arena in Estero, Fla. The Sycamores will take on East Carolina in the tournament opener on Monday to open up the neutral-site tournament.
Following their Thanksgiving road trip, the Sycamores are back home to host Trinity Christian College (Nov. 27). ISU's next three nonconference games are on the road with the Sycamores set to travel to Miami (Ohio) (Dec. 3), Southern Indiana (Dec. 11), and Duquesne (Dec. 17).
ISU's final nonconference game is set for Thursday, December 22, as Northern Illinois comes into town.

For the first time, the Missouri Valley Conference will play a 20-game conference slate following the additions of Murray State, Belmont and Illinois-Chicago to the League beginning July 1, 2022.
