Sycamores-Salukis moved to ESPNU

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – ESPN has notified the Missouri Valley Conference that the May 13 series opener between Indiana State and Southern Illinois will now be featured on ESPNU as a part of the organization's 2022 collegiate baseball programming schedule.
 
First pitch of the game between the Sycamores and the Salukis will air on ESPNU at 4 p.m. ET. The game will feature a Sycamore team that finished second in the MVC regular-season standings on their way to advancing to the NCAA Regionals for the second time in the last three seasons. Southern Illinois is coming off the program's first 40-win season since 1990.
 
In addition to the Sycamores-Salukis contest, the April 29 contest between Dallas Baptist and Illinois State will also be featured on ESPNU with first pitch at Duffy Bass Field set for 8 p.m. ET.
 
The Sycamores start the 2022 season on the road at the Snowbird Baseball Classic as Indiana State is scheduled to take on BYU, Ohio State (twice), and Marshall over the February 18-20 weekend in Port Charlotte, Fla.
