TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State is back home this weekend as the Sycamores host No. 21 North Dakota in the first matchup between the two teams in their respective program histories. Kickoff between the Sycamores and the Fighting Hawks is set for 1 p.m. and will be carried live on ESPN+ and 105.5 The Legend.

358th Fighter Squadron Flyover
Indiana State will feature a flyover on Saturday's game as conducted by 2 A-10C Thunderbolt II from the 'Lobos' of the 358th Fighter Squadron stationed at the Whiteman Air Force Base.

Tailgating and Clear Bag Policies
Indiana State Athletics announced updated tailgating and clear bag policies for the 2022-23 athletic year. The policies are consistent with other members in both the Missouri Valley Conference and Missouri Valley Football Conference.

North Dakota at a Glance
North Dakota was selected seventh overall in the Missouri Valley Football Conference preseason poll as voted on by the league's coaches, media, and SIDs. The Fighting Hawks received 190 total points in the poll.

North Dakota featured five players that earned MVC Preseason All-Conference accolades led by wide receiver Bo Belquist, as well as Donny Ventrelli (OL), Devon Krzanowski (LB), C.J. Siegel (DB), and punter Cade Peterson.

North Dakota already bosts a pair of wins over ranked opponents in the 2022 season as the Fighting Hawks topped No. 24 Northern Iowa (29-27) and No. 7 Missouri State (48-31). The Fighting Hawks have also posted a pair of nonconference wins over Northern Arizona and Abilene Christian on the year.

Bo Belquist has lived up to his billing as one of the top receiving threats in the MVFC on the year with a league-high 5.88 receptions per game.

Indiana State has played 11 games all-time on November 5 in program history. Seven of the 11 games have come on the road with Indiana State last hosting in each of the last three contests.

First Time Matchups
Indiana State was scheduled to face off against three first-time opponents in the 2022 season. Prior to this year, the Sycamores had not lined up against North Alabama or Montana in addition to not facing the Fighting Hawks.

Against North Alabama
The Sycamores picked up the season-opening 17-14 overtime win over North Alabama in the season opener at Memorial Stadium Rylan Cole secured two interceptions, including the game-sealing win over the Lions in overtime. Cole earned MVFC Defensive Player of the Week honors following the game and added 2.5 tackles for loss. The Sycamores posted a Curt Mallory-era high with 8.0 sacks and 15.0 tackles for loss in the season-opener against the Lions.

Against Montana
Montana took the 49-14 win over the Sycamores back on September 17 as the Grizzlies finished with 336 passing yards in the win. Indiana State running back Justin Dinka was the star of the show for ISU with 87 rushing yards, including a 54-yard score to highlight the Sycamore offense in the loss. Lucas Hunter scored Indiana State's first defensive touchdown of the 2022 season with a scoop-and-score 15-yard fumble recovery in the fourth quarter. Anthony Beacom added Indiana State's longest punt of the 2022 season in the contest with a 65-yard boot in the fourth quarter.

Hendrix Moves Up
Redshirt senior wide receiver Dante Hendrix continues to move up the Indiana State record books as the Florence, Ky. sits second all-time in the ISU annals in both career receptions (176) and receiving yards (2,371). Hendrix became the fourth ISU player to eclipse 2,000 career receiving yards joining Sam Logan (2,385), Terry Bell (2,048), and Robert Tonyan Jr. (2,047) to achieve the mark in his career.

Hendrix currently trails just Logan in the ISU all-time record book in both receptions (196) and yards (2,385) sitting 20 receptions and 14 yards away from Logan in each respective category.

Hendrix is currently climbing the MVFC all-time record book in career receptions.
