TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Bradley evened the season series with Indiana State Sunday afternoon while holding ISU to a season-low in points during a 67-52 victory at Carver Arena in downtown Peoria. The Sycamores turned the ball over 15 times and allowed 10 second-chance points in the loss, falling to 9-11 overall and 2-6 in Missouri Valley Conference action.

Micah Thomas scored a team-high 17 points for the Sycamores. The guard finished 6-for-14 from the field while connecting on three of ISU's five 3-point makes in the game.
Kailex Stephens was the only other Sycamore to score in double-figures after posting 10 points in 28 minutes off the bench.

A trio of Bradley players scored in double-digits led by forward Rienk Mast who scored a game-high 20 points with much of his production coming from the block on post moves. The forward finished the day 8-for-14 from the field and 4-for-5 from the free-throw line.

First Half
A 10-2 Bradley run 12 minutes into play helped Bradley to a 24-15 lead thanks to post play from BU's Rienk Mast who finished with 12 first-half points. ISU was able to answer with five-straight points to pull back within four points after
Julian Larry hit a layup followed by a transition triple from
Micah Thomas -- one of Thomas' three 3-pointers in the opening 20 minutes.

Bradley (12-10, 6-4 MVC) ended the half with eight consecutive points to take a 34-23 lead into the locker room. The Braves were dominant in the paint with 26 of their 34 points coming close to the basket. BU also benefited from eight second-chance points on offensive rebounds while scoring 12 of their points on 11 Sycamore turnovers.

Second Half
The Braves opened the second half on fire, scoring eight of the first 11 points to extend their lead to 42-26. Bradley pushed its lead to 19 points -- the largest of the game -- at the 13:39 mark of the second half before the Sycamores were able to reel off a 9-0 run to close the gap to 10 points at the 10:30 mark.

The Sycamores were unable to pull within single digits during the final 10 minutes, finishing the second half shooting just 33 percent (8-for-24) from the field and 0-for-10 from distance.

Inside the Stats
- Bradley recorded 10 second-chance points on 11 offensive rebounds while ISU did not score on a pair of offensive boards.
- ISU Bradley held a 26-8 advantage in paint points in the first half and finished 38-24.
- The seven total assists marked a season-low for ISU while the contest also marked the first game this season that Xavier Bledson did not record multiple assists.
- ISU shot a season-low 34 percent from the field (17-of-50) and tied a season-low with just five 3-pointers.
