THE SERIES

A WIN FOR THE SYCAMORES WOULD...
» Push ISU to .500 on the season
» Snap a three-game losing skid
» Give ISU a 7-1 record at home this season

LAST TIME OUT
» Indiana State is coming off a 63-55 loss at the hand of Southern Illinois Wednesday night in Carbondale. Both Xavier Bledson (21) and Simon Wilbar (11) matched career highs in points scored while Julian Larry posted six points and eight rebounds. The Sycamores trailed by one point at the break before the Salukis outscored ISU 31-24 in the second half while ending the game on a 17-7 run.

HENRY IS A MATCHUP NIGHTMARE
» Cameron Henry has scored in double-figures in 11 of the 13 games he has seen action in, including all four MVC contests. He is averaging 14.2 points, 5.9 rebounds and three assists per game. His scoring output is 11th, rebounding ranks ninth and his assist mark puts him at eighth in the MVC.

» Over three games at the Myrtle Beach Invitational, Henry put up All-MVC-like numbers. The 6-foot-6 guard averaged 17.3 points, nine rebounds and 5.7 assists per game while going for a career-high 25 points against Oklahoma in the semifinals. For his performance, he was named to the All-Tournament Second Team.

NEESE IS A PROBLEM FOR OPPOSING DEFENSES
» The junior is averaging 14.9 points to lead ISU and rank sixth in the MVC. Neese has scored in double-figures in 11 games this season, scoring 15 or more in 10 games. His 2.5 3-pointers per game leads ISU and ranks sixth in the MVC.

» Neese hit two 3-pointers against SIU and sits in sole possession of eighth place in program history -- connecting on 152 during his Sycamore career. Guard Tyreke Key sits in seventh with 153 career threes.

BLEDSON DOES IT ALL
» Xavier Bledson leads the Sycamores with 56 assists in 12 games played, recording multiple assists in all games he has seen action including a season-high 10 assists against Alabama A&M. Bledson leads the MVC with 4.7 assists per game.

» To go with his passing, Bledson is also averaging double-figure scoring at 12 points per game, scoring 15 points or more in six games. Bledson matched a career high with 21 points at Southern Illinois (Jan. 19).

LARRY DOING THE DIRTY WORK
» Julian Larry played all 45 minutes during an overtime loss at UNI -- the most minutes for a Sycamores since Brenton Scott played 52 minutes in a four-overtime loss to Ohio during the 2017-18 season.

» Tasked with the opposing team's best offensive threat on a typical night, Larry continues to put together  strong defensive performances -- holding Preseason First-Team All-MVC member AJ Green to 16 points on 4-for-16 shooting as well as SIU's Marcus Domask to eight points on 2-for-9 shooting.

» On offense, Larry hit a season-high mark in points with 13 -- falling just a point short of a career-high at UNI. He shot 5-for-10 from the field, including a career-high three 3-pointers.

WELCOME TO THE FLOOR
» Before ISU's game at Northern Iowa, true freshman Quimari Peterson had seen the court in one game for a total of four minutes due to injuries and COVID-19 protocols.

» That all changed in Cedar Falls when the guard played 25 minutes and scored his first points in an Indiana State uniform. Peterson connected on three of his eight shots for six points while grabbing six rebounds.

MOVING THE ROCK
» Indiana State ranks second in the MVC behind Loyola with 14.2 assists per game. Five players have recorded over 20 assists with Bledson leading ISU with 56 dimes.

"FREE" THROWS

Micah Thomas leads is with an 87.0 percent free throw percentage while Xavier Bledson is shooting 85.4 percent (35-for-41) from the line. Four other Sycamores shoot 75 percent or better from the charity stripe.
