TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State women's soccer will wrap up their non-conference schedule on Sunday with a 1 p.m. ET match against Saint Louis at Memorial Stadium.
The Sycamores return home after a 1-0 loss against Toledo on Friday night. Sophomore goalkeeper
Maddie Alexander made seven saves.
Saint Louis enters Sunday's match with a 1-5-1 record after a 0-0 tie against Missouri State on Thursday night. Emily Gaebe leads the team with two goals through their first seven matches. Emily Puricelli has made 27 saves on the season.
The Billikens are coached by Katie Shields who is in her ninth season at the helm. Under her direction, Saint Louis has won three A-10 regular season and tournament championships as well as making three NCAA Championship appearances. Their 2021 spring season saw them reach the No. 17 spot in the national rankings which is the highest in program history.
Indiana State will head to Chicago on Friday to begin conference play against Loyola with an 8 p.m. match at Loyola Soccer Park.
