CHICAGO – The Indiana State softball team dropped the series finale to Loyola on Saturday afternoon 4-1 at the Loyola Softball Field.
Indiana State moved to 19-27 on the season and 12-15 in MVC play while Loyola sits at 12-28 and 8-16 in Valley action.
Loyola jumped out in front first scoring the first run of the contest on a double.
Lexie Siwek answered in the top half of the third with a double to left field.
The Ramblers added a pair of runs on an ISU throwing error and a single. Loyola scored another run on a single in the bottom of the fifth.
