TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Indiana State softball team dropped its doubleheader against Northern Iowa Saturday afternoon. The Sycamores (6-14) fell in a heartbreaker in game one by a score of 6-4 and dropped the second by a score of 3-2 in extra innings at Price Field.
KEY MOMENT – GAME ONE
Mallory Marsicek returned to the field for the Sycamores going 2-for-3 with an RBI.
Amanda Guercio connected on her fourth home run of the season, but the Sycamores fell short of the Panthers.

Mallory Marsicek brought in the first ISU run with an RBI single to centerfield.

Northern Iowa put up four runs on a double and a single.

Northern Iowa added a run with a double.
