TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – After scoring its first first-half goal of the season, the Indiana State soccer team surrendered five second half tallies to Missouri Valley Conference leader Loyola and ultimately fell 5-1 at ISU Memorial Stadium.

The Sycamores (3-3-0, 3-2-0 MVC) now trail the Ramblers (5-0-1, 5-0-1 MVC) by seven points in the standings with three regular season matches to play.

CeCe Wahlburg, who earned her first assist of the 2021 spring campaign.

- Loyola pulled ahead with a goal in the 51
st minute, and put real distance between themselves and the Sycamores with another goal just moments later.
