TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Sycamore volleyball will continue Missouri Valley Conference play this weekend when they travel north for a series with in-state foe, Valparaiso, on Sunday and Monday (Mar. 21-22).

First serve on Sunday is slated for 4 p.m. ET while the match on Monday will begin at 5 p.m. ET.

CLIMBING THE LADDER
Melina Tedrow continued to climb the history books this weekend after digging in for 47 total digs this weekend against Drake. Tedrow surpassed Bree Spangler on Monday evening, now boasting 1106 career digs, the ninth-best number in school history. The junior recorded 19 digs and eight assists on Sunday afternoon and followed by a 29 dig, seven assist match on Monday. For the weekend she averaged 5.88 digs per set and is currently fifth in the MVC and 39th in the nation, averaging 5.19 digs per set. She also has the 20th most digs nationally this season with 306.

DIGGING IN
The Sycamore defense has managed to maintain their impressive national numbers throughout the season.
Melina Tedrow is currently 39th in the NCAA with 5.19 digs per set and Indiana State as a team averages 18.46 digs per set, the 16th-best number in the nation. Indiana State's 80-dig performance in a three set-match with Bradley is still the fourth-best number in the NCAA for a three-set match.

OFFENSIVE CHANGES
Last season Indiana State saw themselves towards the bottom of every major offensive statistical category. This season, ISU is second in the Valley in hitting percentage at .200 and is fourth in kills per set at 12.93. ISU also holds the second-best mark in the nation of total attacks in a three-set match with 163 from their Feb. 15 match with Bradley. They also have the fifth-best mark in the NCAA of total attacks in a four-set match from their Feb. 14 match with Bradley when they tallied 201. The Trees are also 12th in the nation in team attacks per set at 39.86 and 46th in total kills at 763.

STREAK EXTENDED
With 47 digs in a series with Drake last weekend,
Melina Tedrow increased her streak of recording 10+ digs to a team-best 26 matches.
