THE SERIES
» A late addition to the schedule after basketball activities were paused by Coppin State due to COVID-19, Wednesday's game will be the first meeting between the two programs. ISU hosted Oakland City on Dec. 20 -- a team that also hails from the River States Conference.

FLUID SCHEDULING...
» Midway University agreed to play in Terre Haute just one week ago, replacing Coppin State who paused all basketball activities due to COVID-19.

» ISU's Dec. 22 game with Northern Illinois was also canceled due to COVID-19 issues within the Huskies' program.

PROTECT THE HOME COURT
» Indiana State is 4-0 inside Hulman Center this season and is currently riding a nine-game streak at home. The streak is the third-longest in the MVC behind Loyola (28) and Drake (11). ISU finished 2020-21 with a 9-3 mark at home while going 12-1 in Hulman Center in 2019-20.

LOOKING AT MIDWAY
» Midway enters the contest at 7-4 overall and 2-3 in the River States Conference. The Eagles are led by Donnie Miller who averages 21.9 points per game while Raekwon Evans adds 17.9 points per game. In 11 games, MU is averaging 87.9 points while holding its opponents to 80.2 points and 45.2 percent from the field.

NEESE A PROBLEM FOR OPPOSING DEFENSES
» After posting career highs across the board during 2020-21, Cooper Neese has picked up where he left off. The junior is averaging 15.7 points to lead ISU and rank fifth in the MVC. Neese has scored in double-figures in nine games this season, scoring 15 or more in eight games. His 26 makes from distance leads ISU and ranks seventh in the MVC.

» Neese put up a career-high 30 points in a loss at North Dakota State last time out. The sharpshooter recorded five makes from behind the arc while playing all 40 minutes. The game marked the 40th double-digit scoring game for Neese in his career and the seventh 20+ point performance.

HENRY DOES IT ALL
» Cameron Henry has either made or assisted on 33 percent of all Indiana State field goals. He is averaging 14.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. His scoring output is 12th, rebounding ranks sixth, while his assist average ranks 7th in the MVC.

» Henry has scored in double-figures in nine games for Indiana State -- including a pair of double-doubles. Over three games at the Myrtle Beach Invitational, Henry put up All-MVC like numbers. The 6-foot-6 guard averaged 17.3 points, nine rebounds and 5.7 assists per game while going for a career-high 25 points against Oklahoma in the semifinals. For his performance, he was named to the All-Tournament Second Team.

BLEDSON AN ALL-AROUND THREAT
» You have to see it in person to truly appreciate the offensive awareness of Xavier Bledson. The guard leads the Sycamores with 42 assists, recording multiple assists in all games he has seen action including a season-high 10 assists against Alabama A&M. Bledson leads the MVC with 4.7 assists per game. To go with his passing, Bledson is also averaging double-figure scoring at 12.1 points per game, scoring 15 points or more in five games.

MOVING THE ROCK
» Indiana State ranks third in the MVC with 13.8 assists per game while sitting third with a 1.2 assist-to-turnover ratio. Five players have recorded over 10 assists with Bledson leading ISU with 42 dimes.

LINEUP LIMBO
» The Sycamores have used nine different starting lineups in 12 games this season. No starting lineup combination has been used more than three times.
