TERRE HAUTE, Ind. –
Dominique Dafney and
Jonas Griffith were both on the field on NFL Week 12 as the two Sycamores represented their teams this past weekend.
Dafney earned the start at tight end for the Green Bay Packers against the Los Angeles Rams this past Sunday afternoon in Lambeau Field. The second-year pro did not draw a target in the passing game, but made his mark on special teams with a trio of tackles, including a forced fumble in the third quarter that led to a Packers' field goal in their eventual 36-28 win over the Rams.
Griffith did not record a statistic for the Denver Broncos on Sunday afternoon as the rookie was on the field in the 28-13 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
Griffith and the Broncos are heading to the Kansas City Chiefs this upcoming weekend in the Sunday night game on NBC. Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. ET.
Dafney and the Packers head into a bye week with a 9-3 overall record and a 3.5 game lead over the Minnesota Vikings (5-6) for the NFC North title race.
