CONWAY, S.C. – Indiana State basketball fell to Oklahoma 87-63 in the semifinals of the Myrtle Beach Invitational Friday night at the HTC Center despite a career effort from Cameron Henry.

Henry scored a career high 25 points to lead all players while adding eight rebounds and four assists. The Chesterfield, Virginia native tallied 11 points in the first 20 minutes before dropping in 14 in the second half of action. Micah Thomas scored 12 points on 4-for-11 shooting while Cooper Neese scored in double-digits for the fifth consecutive game with 11 points.

The Sooners (4-0) utilized their strength on the interior and athleticism to disrupt the ISU offense throughout the night, holding ISU to its second-worst shooting percentage of the season behind Purdue at 42.1 percent from the floor as well as a season low 22.2 percent (6-of-27) from behind the arc.

Trailing by eight points at the break, the two squads traded blows for the first five minutes of the second half until the Sooners were able to create a double-digit buffer thanks to some early fouls and turnovers from the Sycamores.

Oklahoma was able to pick up production from its bench to the tune of a 32-7 advantage as the Sycamores used just two rotation players until late in the game. ISU continued to chip away at the OU lead until it was a 32-30 game after a quick 5-0 Sycamore run following a layup from Henry and a three from Stephens. OU ended the half with a 6-0 run to take a 38-30 lead into the locker room.
