Box Score DES MOINES, Iowa – Indiana State volleyball picked up its first win on the road at Drake since 2013 with a 3-1 (25-20, 25-17, 16-25, 25-16) victory inside the Knapp Center Friday night in Des Moines. The win helped the Sycamores improve to 11-6 overall and 3-4 in Missouri Valley Conference action. Drake fell to 8-7 overall and 3-4 in MVC play.
Kaitlyn Hamilton led all players and went for a career high 16 kills as she paced the Sycamore offensive attack on the night with a .154 hitting percentage. Freshman outside hitter
Karinna Gall joined Hamilton in double-digit kills with 13 as ISU outhit the Bulldogs .166 to .097 in the match.

Chloe Mason picked up yet another double-double with a 25 assist and 10 dig performance. Libero
Melina Tedrow led the Sycamores with 20 digs to go with four assists.
Indiana State was strong on the serve picking up seven aces in the match led by Mason's three while
Ashley Eck added two of her own.
Madeline Williams (1 BS, 5 BA) and Hamilton (1 BS, 4 BA) were stout at the net, accounting for 6.5 of the 10 Indiana State blocks.
Mariana Rodriguez was the lone Bulldog to reach double figure kills with 10 while Emily Plock added seven.
Set One - Indiana State 25, Drake 20
- Indiana State jumped out to a 10-7 lead early and led by as many as eight points at 20-12
- ISU outhit Drake .150 to .025 led by Hamilton's five kills
- Mason assisted on eight points while Tedrow led defensively with seven digs
- ISU recorded three aces in the set as Ashley Eck's two aces
Set Two - Indiana State 25, Drake 17
- After taking a 3-2 lead Indiana State never looked back
- Indiana State converted 83 percent of its sideout chances (15-of-18)
- Gall recorded a set high seven kills
Set Three – Drake 25, Indiana State 16
- Drake outhit ISU .324 to .000 in the set
- ISU committed 10 attack errors
- Rodriguez led Drake with seven kills
- Drake recorded four blocks to Indiana State's one
Set Four - Indiana State 25, Drake 16
- Four Sycamores recorded three or more kills led by five from Hamilton
- ISU outhit Drake .244 to .105
- the Sycamores converted 64 percent of their sideout attempts (11-of-17)
- Mallory Keller hit .375 in the set to lead the Sycamores
