TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Indiana State men's basketball program announced its 2020-21 Missouri Valley Conference schedule Tuesday. Tipoff times will be announced at a later date following television designations. In addition, the League office is scheduled to announce its preseason poll as well as All-MVC selections in mid-October.
Following a third-place conference finish a year ago, the Sycamores will play six of their first 10 conference games at home beginning with Valparaiso December 30. Southern Illinois, Northern Iowa, Drake, Loyola and Missouri State will make their way to Hulman Center during the month of January before ISU takes to the road for five of their final nine league matchups. ISU will host back-to-back contest with UNI and Drake January 13 and 16 before hosting Bradley and Evansville February 9 and 13.
Indiana State will make road swings to Northern Iowa and Southern Illinois February 3 and 6 before heading to Missouri State and Loyola February 17 and 20. Senior Day is scheduled for February 23 against Illinois State. The Sycamores will close out the regular season February 27 at Valpo.
Arch Madness is set for March 4-7 at Enterprise Center in St. Louis.
Sycamore fans will get their first glimpse of the team inside renovated Hulman Center when the team kicks off a four-game home swing beginning with Wyoming December 9 followed by home contests with in-state rival Ball State and Ohio Valley Conference contender Southeast Missouri State.
The team is scheduled to open its 2020-21 season November 25 at the Gulf Coast Showcase in Estero, Florida with matchups still to be announced. In a rematch from the season opener a year ago, ISU travels to Dayton to take on the Flyers December 2 in its first true road contest.
