TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Indiana State baseball program has been recognized for its achievements in the classroom by earning the 2019-20 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award.
Teams from every level of college and high school baseball were recognized with the award, highlighting programs coached by ABCA members that posted a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for the 2019-20 academic year. Indiana State posted a 3.24 team GPA for the year.
The Sycamores were one of 64 NCAA Division I programs recognized. Indiana State and Bradley were the lone Missouri Valley Conference members to garner the award.
