Sycamore Volleyball Announces Summer Camp Dates

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State volleyball has announced the dates of their all skills, elite and junior trees summer camps, head coach Lindsay Allman announced on Monday.

All sessions will take place in the ISU Arena and campers should bring volleyball shoes, kneepads and athletics shorts/spandex. All campers will check in at the Arena in the Health and Human Services Building. Parking is available on the corner of 5th and Chestnut in the West Visitor Pay Lot.

Camps will start on July 18 with the all skills/elite camp which is intended for experienced players that will jump right into skill work, drills, and competition. Not only will campers get training from the Indiana State staff, but they'll be exposed to the players and get a glimpse of what it's like to be an Indiana State athlete for a day. The cost of the all skills/elite camp will be $150.

The Jr. Trees camp will run from July 20-22, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. ET each day. This camp is designed for younger volleyball players (ages 6-12). All skills will be covered and the technique learned will be incorporated into live play and games. The Jr. Trees camp costs $90 to attend.

Finally, a two-day elite camp will run from July 24-25. All skills will be addressed and broken down technically and applied into competitions throughout all sessions of camp. This camp will also include an inside look into the Indiana State Volleyball program. The staff and players of Indiana State will be coaching and intermixed throughout camp. The two-day elite camp costs between $200-$230.

Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by age, number, gender and/or grade level.
