NOTES
  • The Series: Indiana State and Evansville meet for the 57th time on Friday with ISU holding a 38-18 advantage in the series. ISU won the first matchup this season on January 31, 68-58, in the Hulman Center.
  • A Win Would: A win on Friday would give the Sycamores their second-consecutive victory over the Purple Aces and give ISU the season sweep. A win would also give the Trees a three-game cushion over Evansville in the league standings and give head coach Vicki Hall her third win over UE.
  • In-State Rivalry: The Sycamores get set for their in-state rivalry game at Evansville next Friday to try and cushion their advantage over the Purple Aces in the league standings. ISU got the first win of the year, defeating UE 68-58 on Jan. 31 in the Hulman Center. In the historical setting, Indiana State owns a 38-18 advantage, but is only 16-11 in Evansville.
  • Short-Handed Sycamores: Indiana State played without their junior leader, Jamyra McChristine on Sunday against #18 Missouri State. Despite the loss, several Sycamores stepped-up to the challenge, including freshman guard Caitlyn Anderson who tallied a team-high 15 points to go along with two assists and two rebounds. Marie Hunter also helped fill the void, recording 14 points and a team-high four rebounds.
  • Hitting the Boards: ISU can boast themselves as one of the best offensive rebounding teams in the Missouri Valley Conference. The Trees have pulled down 327 offensive boards (the second-most in the Valley) in 27 games, giving them an average of 12.1 per-game which is the third-best number in the Valley. Jamyra McChristine leads the blue and white with 6.3 rebounds per game, ninth in the Valley.
