JaVaugh Moore, Imani Davis and Alli Workman highlighted the weekend for the Trees, as Moore was the lone finals qualifier, placing fifth in the 60-meter dash and fourth in the 200-meter dash. Davis placed second in the 800-meter run with the second-fastest time in the Valley of 2:10.10. Workman ran a career-best and ninth-fastest time in Sycamore history in the 3000-meter run of 9:56.08 en route to an 11th-place finish.
- Top-25 Event Squads: Indiana State's male high jumpers are ranked 20th in the nation in the event squad rankings which places a rank order to a program's "squad" of athletes in a particular event, using the cumulative season-best qualifying marks from a team's top-four ranked athletes on the national descending-order list. The high jumpers have an average height of 2.04m (6-08.25). The men's hurdlers sit at 23rd nationally with an average time of 8.18.
- Male Track Athlete of the Week: JaVaughn Moore had a strong weekend in the sprinting events for Indiana State in South Bend, Ind. Competing at the Meyo Invitational, Moore started his weekend by qualifying for the 60-meter dash semi-finals, running the fourth-fastest preliminary time of 6.80. He then ran the sixth-fastest 200-meter dash time in Indiana State history of 21.57, good enough for fourth-place. On Saturday, Moore qualified for the 60-meter dash finals with a semi-final time of 6.87. The sophomore went on to finish fifth in finals, clocking a time of 6.83.
