TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Head Coach Mitch Hannahs announced Tuesday that Pascal Paul has been added to his staff as the volunteer assistant.
 
Paul spent the previous three seasons at Iowa Western Community College as an assistant coach for the Reivers. At IWCC, he worked with Reiver pitchers while also playing a key role in recruiting. Some of his duties with the Reivers were coordinating travel, assisting with camps, strength and conditioning and coaching first base.
 
A native of Merrill, Wisconsin, Paul graduated from Merrill High School in 2010 where he played three sports and helped the baseball to team to a state tournament berth. Upon graduation Paul went on to attend Iowa Western Community College where he led the Reivers to a third-place finish in 2011 and a National Championship in 2012. 
 
After IWCC Pascal went on to play for West Virginia University where he led them in saves in 2013 and appearances in 2013 and 2014. While at West Virginia, Paul helped the Mountaineers to a third-place finish in the BIG 12 in 2013.
