TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Indiana State Women's Basketball program released its 2019-20 non-conference slate on Friday, which features 12 out-of-league games for Vicki Hall's second year leading the Sycamores.
 
"I'm very excited about our non-conference schedule," Hall said. "It's extremely challenging and it will be a lot for our new team to handle, but I did this because I want our team to be tested early and often. Our conference is strong, so the way to get ready for that is to be tested early. I hope our fans will have some patience with our youth. We are young, but I think you will find this team fun to watch."
 
The 2019-20 season will kick-off with an immediate road test on Nov. 6 when the Trees travel to historic Allen Fieldhouse for a showdown with Kansas.
 
Sycamore fans will get their first glimpse of the new-look squad on Dec. 3 when the team hosts Marshall in the home opener. The Thundering Herd are one of four non-conference opponents to visit the Hulman Center this upcoming season. Other home games include Northern Kentucky (Dec. 16), Southeast Missouri State (Dec. 21) and St. Louis (Dec. 30).
 
ISU will tour the state of Illinois after their visit to Kansas early in the non-conference, visiting Eastern Illinois on Nov. 10, Western Illinois on Nov. 14 and finally UIC on Nov. 19.
 
After the trip to UIC, the women will head west for a road matchup against Pac-12 opponent Colorado (Nov. 26) before traveling to Stockton, Calif. to take part in the Pacific Tournament, hosted by University of the Pacific from Nov. 29-30.
 
A road game with Murray State finds itself sandwiched between the December home games on Dec. 7 and the non-conference portion of the schedule will come to a close on Dec. 30 when Indiana State hosts St. Louis.
