TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State Head Volleyball Coach Lindsay Allman announced the program's 2019 schedule Wednesday with the home opener at ISU Arena set for Sept. 17 against IUPUI.
 
The upcoming slate features 28 regular season matches including three early season tournaments across the Midwest. The season starts on Aug. 30 at the Green Bay Invitational with a match against Northeastern.
 
Indiana State will face 14 opponents with winning records from a year ago while nine opponents advanced to the postseason, including Cincinnati, Green Bay, Illinois State and Northern Iowa receiving bids to the NCAA Tournament.
 
After early season tournaments at Green Bay, Michigan State and Wright State, the Sycamores will host IUPUI in their home opener before beginning Missouri Valley Conference play at Drake on Sept. 27.
 
Returning home to host Bradley on Sept. 30 begins a four-match homestand at ISU Arena culminating with the Homecoming weekend match against Evansville on Oct. 11.
 
The home schedule wraps up on Nov. 15 and 16 with matches against Southern Illinois and Missouri State, respectively. The regular season concludes on Nov. 23 with a match at Bradley.
 
Northern Iowa will host the 2019 MVC Championship starting Nov. 28 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Broadcast details for the entire schedule will be announced at a later date.
