TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State will hit the road this weekend as the Sycamores will travel to Peoria, Illinois for a three-game Missouri Valley Conference series at Bradley that is currently slated to start Saturday.
Â
Currently in Week 12 of the 2019 season, this weekend's schedule could mimic the previous 11 with schedule changes due to inclement weather. Stay tuned to GoSycamores.com and the

The three games at Bradley are currently scheduled to be broadcast live on The Valley on ESPN (ESPN+).

Series History
Recent trends in this series go towards the Trees as Indiana State has won six of the last 11 games, including upending the Braves, 4-3, in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament last season. Bradley does hold a 63-34 advantage in the all-time series, however.

Three Things to Know
- Double Vision
Indiana State enters this weekend's action leading The Valley having turned 19 double plays this season. Missouri State (17) and Illinois State (16) rank second and third, respectively, in the conference. Meanwhile, ISU's 0.42 double plays per game not only leads the MVC but ranks 44th nationally.
- Brooke is the (Wo)Mann
Brooke Mann is coming close to breaking a school record - she already owns. This year, Mann has thrown out 14 runners attempting to steal (see next note). Current data shows that mark ranks tied for second in school history and trails behind her own school record of 15 runners gunned down by Mann in 2017. Brooke Riemenschneider (2014) and Stephanie Spychaj (2004) are tied for second along with Mann with 14 runners thrown out attempting to steal.
- Among National Leaders in Efficiency
More than just leading the Valley, Indiana State's success rate on the base paths is among one of the best marks in the nation. The Sycamores .904 success rate ranks 20th in the nation. That is better than all but one Big Ten team and better than eight of the 13 SEC teams.
