TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State returns home to the friendly confines of Price Field Wednesday as the Sycamores host Evansville with several game promotions set for the Missouri Valley Conference tilt.
 
First pitch is at 4 p.m. and the game will be broadcast live on The Valley on ESPN (ESPN+).
 
Game Promotions

• The first 50 Indiana State students to Wednesday's game will receive a free cookie courtesy of Insomnia Cookies.
• One lucky fan will win a Mark Clinkenbeard Construction trucker hat every time the Sycamores steal a base.

Series History
Indiana State holds a 50-47 all-time lead over the Purple Aces with a 32-21 record when playing in Terre Haute. The Sycamores are looking to win the season series over Evansville for the third consecutive year.
 
Three Things to Know

1. Double Trouble
   Indiana State enters this week's action ranking 36^th in the nation and leading the Missouri Valley Conference with 19 double plays turned this season. Additionally, the Sycamores are averaging 0.41 double plays per game, a mark that ranks 41^st nationally.
2. Successful Rate of Steals
   Not only does Indiana State's 72 stolen bases lead the Missouri Valley Conference and rank 30^th in the country, ISU's success rate of 90 percent on the base paths this year (72-for-80) ranks 22^nd nationally. That mark is better than all but one Big Ten team and better than eight of the 13 SEC programs.
3. Stop 'Em In Their Tracks
   Brooke Mann is coming close to breaking a school record - she already owns. This year, Mann has thrown out 14 runners attempting to steal (see next note). Current data shows that mark ranks tied for second in school history and trails behind her own school record of 15 runners gunned down by Mann in 2017. Brooke Riemenschneider (2014) and Stephanie Spychaj (2004) are tied for second along with Mann with 14 runners thrown out attempting to steal.
