Series History
Indiana State is 31-63 all-time against the Panthers but recent trends have moved the pendulum back towards the Trees. The Sycamores have won six of the last 10 meetings and claimed a series win the last time the Panthers visited Price Field.

Three Things to Know
- This weekend's series against Northern Iowa marks the opening series of Missouri Valley Conference play for both teams. Last season the Sycamores got off to a fast start in Valley play with a three-game sweep of Valparaiso, marking its third win in a Valley opener in the last four years. But the overall weekend series haven't been as kind as Indiana State has only posted a .500 record or better in its opening Valley series in four of the last 10 years.

The triples are coming in hot for Indiana State early on this season. Entering this week's play, the Sycamores rank 36th in the country with 0.32 triples per game thanks in large part to the trio of triples Bella Peterson has accumulated this year, ranking 19th in the nation and ranking second in the Valley.
- Mills' First Collegiate Hit Went the Distance
Sophomore Mycaela Miller was given a chance to swing the bat in a pinch hit opportunity on March 13 against IUPUI and she took full advantage of it. Her first collegiate hit went beyond the left-center field wall for a home run in ISU's 9-2 win over the Jaguars.
