TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- As we are nearing Spring Break in the Wabash Valley it is time to start thinking about the summer, so plan now to take part in The Greg Lansing Basketball Camps at Indiana State.

There will be a pair of week-long individual camp sessions with the first coming on June 17-20 while the second week is slated for July 8-11. The annual high school team shootout will be held on Wednesday, June 12. This summer, all sessions of camp will be at the ISU Student Recreation Center and the ISU Arena. The ISU Student Recreation Center is located in the heart of the the ISU Campus off Tippecanoe St. between Fifth and Seventh Streets. The ISU Arena is where the team practices and is located at 401 N. Fourth Street.

The cost to attend one of the two individual sessions is set at $200 for the first child and $190 for each additional sibling. The June session is open to all grades while only those entering grades 1 through 7 are permitted to attend in July, due to NCAA recruiting regulations. Individual camp begins at 9 am (ET) each day and will conclude at 4 pm. On the first day of both sessions, registration will begin at 8 am. Applications (linked at the top of this story) must be signed by parents or legal guardians and accompany a $50 deposit. The balance is due at the start of the camp. Once again this summer, lunch will be provided for each camper that attends. 

Each individual camp features daily work on fundamentals as well as competitive team play and contests. Every camper receives an official camp t-shirt and basketball as well as demonstrations and instruction from Sycamore student-athletes. The individual camps also feature self-improvement workout drills and individualized attention from coaches and counselors. Campers should bring basketball shoes, t-shirt, shorts and socks as well as an optional sweatshirt or light jacket.

The annual High School Team Shootout will be held on Wednesday, June 12 at the ISU Student Recreation Center as well as the ISU Basketball Practice Facility located in the South Gym of ISU Arena. The cost per team is $275 which includes 10 camp t-shirts, a three-game guarantee, use of Indiana State facilities and a coaches' polo. Registration for the team shootout begins at 8:00 a.m. with a camp welcome slated for 8:30 a.m. The games begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue until all of the camp's championships have been determined.
