ST. LOUIS - Senior distance star Brooke Moore has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Female Track Athlete of the Week, the Valley announced Tuesday afternoon. Moore also earned the honor on Jan. 15.

Brooke Moore, the senior distance star for Indiana State, raced in the 800-meter run on Saturday at the Alex Wilson Invitational and crossed the finish line with the sixth-best time in ISU history of 2:07.37 en route to a fourth-place finish. Not only does her time move her up the record book, it also pushes her to the best time in the Missouri Valley Conference and 38th in the nation. After her performance on Saturday, Moore now owns the top times in the Valley in the 800-meter run, mile-run and 3000-meter run.
