TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State and Head Softball Coach
Mike Perniciaro announced the Sycamore Softball program's 2019 slate Tuesday.
The 2019 schedule features 55 games against 29 opponents. Six of those teams reached the postseason last year while 13 of those programs won 30 or more games in 2018.

The 2019 season opens on Saturday, Feb. 9 with a three-game series at Stetson before the early season tournament schedule kicks in with the Sycamores competing at the Chattanooga Challenge (hosted by UT Chattanooga), Hilltopper Classic (Western Kentucky), Cardinal Classic (Louisville) and the Memphis Softball Tournament (Memphis).
This year's Missouri Valley Conference schedule features home series against Illinois State, Missouri State, Northern Iowa and Southern Illinois with a single game against Evansville. Road league series include trips to Bradley, Drake, Loyola and Valparaiso with a doubleheader at Evansville.
Bradley will also host the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament, set for May 8-11 in Peoria, Illinois.
